Eric Morham, President of Constellation Brands’ Canadian Business to Retire; Ben Dollard Appointed new PresidentConstellation produces Black Velvet and Danfield's Canadian WhiskiesVICTOR, N.Y., Jan. 14, 2013 – Constellation Brands, Inc. (CBI), the world’s leading premium wine company, and owner of Black Velvet Distillery in Lethbridge, Alberta, announced today that Eric Morham, president of the company’s Canadian business, will retire effective May 31, 2013 after 40 years in the beverage alcohol industry.“Eric’s broad and deep global experience in the wine industry has helped to solidify Constellation’s leadership position in Canada,” said Jay Wright, chief operating officer, CBI. “He has been a highly valuable member of Constellation’s management team and we thank him for his expertise, strategic insights and accomplishments over the years.”Morham joined CBI in 2004 and became president of the Canadian business in 2009. During his tenure, he implemented a number of organic growth strategies focused on key Canadian brands such as Inniskillin and Jackson-Triggs. Prior to his current role, he served in key strategic leadership positions, including senior vice president (SVP), International and president of Icon Estates, the company’s former U.S. luxury and fine wine business.Succeeding Morham is Ben Dollard, currently SVP, International. His appointment is effective March 1, 2013.“Ben has great experience building global brands, such as Robert Mondavi and Inniskillin, and working in various markets,” Wright said. “He brings significant knowledge of the international business to the leadership role and will be an asset to our Canadian business.”Dollard joined CBI in 2001 and has extensive brand building, sales, marketing and production experience, including being involved in U.S. exports into Canada. Most recently, Dollard has focused on establishing and executing CBI’s emerging markets strategy. Dollard will be based in Mississauga, Ontario.In addition to the Black Velvet Canadian whisky range, Constellation also produces Danfield's Canadian Whisky, McMaster's Canadian Whisky, MacNaughton Canadian Whisky, and the Schenley Brands, including Golden Wedding.
